Recipe for Fruit Salad

This fruit salad is very easy and quick to make and is always a hit with my family.  The only thing I do a little differently from the recipe is add a few more cherries (as we all know there are hardly any cherries in the fruit cocktail cans).  I also stir in a little maraschino cherry juice.  Eating a bowl of this with a bit of Cool Whip is as good as dessert!  Enjoy!

Fruit Salad

2 cans peach pie filling

1 can apricot halves, drained

1 large can fruit cocktail

1 large can pineapple chunks

1 can mandarin oranges

4 bananas

Drain juice from all cans of fruit.  Mix well.  Add peach pie filling.  Peel bananas and slice.  Add bananas to fruit.  Chill and serve.
