Monday’s Question

What was your favorite toy as a child?  Why?  Do you still have it?

I think I had a lot of “favorite” toys, but one of my most favorites was my Creepy Crawler set.  I really used it a lot (my parents got their money’s worth)!  My two sisters also had one.  I can remember spending the night with friends and making Creepy Crawlers all night…. so much fun.  Thank goodness we never burned the house down!  Those things got hot!!  I wish I still had mine but it got thrown away.  😦  I can still remember the smell of the plastigoop and the way it smelled when the “bugs” were cooking.  Yep, loved those Creepy Crawlers!

I also enjoyed Creepy Crawlers, but really like Incredible Eatables the best. My favorite toy was my Moonbaby doll (from the Dick Tracey comic series). So how I lost her, but still remember the plastic bubble helmet she had that her pigtails came stuck through.

I remember Incredible Edibles too Lydia. Someone in our neighborhood had a set. I remember eating some sort of root beer flavored bug once and not liking it! I think they discontinued those because they said the goop used to make them was discovered to be a carcinogen! It’s a wonder any of us are still alive! I don’t really remember the Moonbaby dolls. Thanks for visiting the blog and commenting Lydia!
