Recipe for Russian Tea

I love to drink Russian tea in the wintertime.  It’s a delightful spiced tea that is sure to warm you up on a cold winter’s day.  Put some in a decorative jar for a nice little gift.

Russian Tea

2 cups Tang orange flavored drink mix

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup Instant tea mix

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 teaspoon cloves

about 1/2 cup lemonade mix powder

Mix together and add 3 teaspoons to 1 cup hot water.

Gail, Thank you for sharing this recipe. I have always enjoyed drinking the hot spiced tea but I never had the recipe or new that it was called Russian Tea. Thanks again. Definitely another homemade Christmas gift on the list.

You are welcome Jeanne. I also have a similar recipe for spiced tea. It doesn’t call for any lemonade mix but it says to use Instant tea mix with lemon. Other than that, it’s about the same. Hope you enjoy it and have a Merry Christmas!
