Monday’s Question

Question:  What was the last movie you watched?  Did you like it?

My Answer:   The last movie I watched was An Unfinished Life, starring Robert Redford, Morgan Freeman and Jennifer Lopez.  I had never heard of this movie which came out in 2005.

Stoic and heartbroken, Einar Gilkyson quietly lives in the rugged Wyoming ranch lands alongside his only trusted friend, Mitch Bradley. Then, suddenly, the woman he blames for the death of his only son arrives at his door broke, desperate, and with a granddaughter he’s never known. But even as buried anger and accusations resurface, the way is opened for unexpected connection.

I loved the many story lines in this movie.  It’s a tale of love and forgiveness, friendship, family, and reconciliation.  The scenery was absolutely breathtaking which was a plus. The setting of the movie takes place in Wyoming but the movie was filmed in Canada. The big negative in this film (for me anyway) was all the profanity which to me detracts from a very good movie.

This is how it looks at our home. You have an invite any time to come on out. No, I have not seen this movie. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the invite. Maybe one day… Another big score for the $5 bin at Walmart!!! Most of our favorite movies are ones we’ve found in that bin.
