The rains brought a visitor to our front yard yesterday. I introduced the visitor to the kitties. Being indoor cats, they had never seen a turtle before. They were quite intrigued. Nugget (the blonde tabby) got very possessive over his new friend, Mr. Box turtle, and started hovering over him and looking at Dakota (gray tabby) as if to say, “HE’S MINE!” I let them visit a while, and then put Mr. Box turtle back in the yard where I found him. He ate a few grass blades and then went merrily on his way.
